The king was 55 lbs.  Got her on the last day I got to fish the kenai this year.  Doesn't get any better than end of July chrome kings.

I would get rid of the raingear but I can't find white anywhere.  They are about 9 years old now.  I can't get rid of them whenever I'm meeting a friend on the river I just say look for the guy wearing the wite raingear.  They have seen a lot of hours on the water, but they still keep me dry for the most part.

Now, your really making me home sick.....  Valdez? Of Hope?  We used to go to both and not uncommon for 150 pinks between two kids....  Blast and super fun on light tackle...  Just don't start show some of these to SISU cause then you'll have two people in the deep blues...

Quite the opposite, keep them coming, Especially since I am not coming this season for Caribou and Moose, which has really gotten me really moody, not to mention missing the Silvers running up Twenty-Mile, give it a go if you know folks with a small jet boat or Air Boat, you'll find it will soon become the favorite of all Coho fishing streams....  When the guys with the bigger boats stop, keep heading till the water is as wide as the boat in the tinniest sloughs, there I go again getting myself worked up....

We are hoping for Alaska as our next base. :) I can't wait to go fishing up there. There is so much you have to do just to fish over here in Germany.

"Obtaining a fishing license like the German nationals are obligated to do is time consuming and quite pricey. Its process entails taking a 30-hour course. This fishing class has little to do with how to cast a reel or put a worm on a hook, but is an intensified study of fishing regulations, habitat and biology. This course is followed by a comprehensive fishing exam that tests what the students have learned. One must have a pretty good understanding of the German language in order to complete the above process in order to not only understand the instructor, but also read the test and answer its questions. The cost of obtaining the license is a whopping $200. The license needs to be renewed annually for about $22."

I really really hope we get Alaska as our next base.
