first grouse and first limit

Drove around looking for grouse today, came across a decent area and shot one, then while coming home saw a group of 3, took the first 2 out with one shot each then reloaded and shot the last one.  Had my citori with me so I was suprised I got all 3.

In all my first time going after grouse and first time limiting out on them, honestly if I only got the 1 I woulda gone home happy but I guess its karma, ill be going back in a couple weeks to see if its a true honeyspot

Awesome!! I haven't limited out for a couple years. All ruffed grouse?

All ruffled and some great plummage

I've found that no one spot is good for grouse its more of trying to find a type of area they like
