Ad in classfied
« on: March 01, 2011, 02:58:21 PM »
I have an ad in the classified that doesn't have any pictures and I can't figure out how to add them so I thought I would post them here as well so people can see the bow. If the mods want to move the pictures over that would be great too. The listing is for the Browning Rage.

You need bigger pictures. They're too hard to see.

I just noticed that. They are off my folks costco.com account so I will see if I can figure out how to get bigger ones. I am not too great at techy stuff.

Anybody have any idea how to save the picture off costco.com? It will only allow me to save the little preview one and not the big one.

Can you right click on it and do a "save picture as"?

I tried that but it doesn't give me that option. It only gives me the save picture option on the little thumbnail of the picture.

The settings on the camera are set to take the pics that small is my thought. There's no way to  make them bigger without blowing them out.

I don't think it's the camera. I think you just need to download the pictures from Costco rather than trying to save the thumbnails. Somebody on here will probably be able to provide a better answer, I just have not dealt with Costco's photo center for quite a while.

When you right click on the thumbnail of the pic does it give you the option to download it or save it?
If it gives you the option to download it, do that. Don't save it because you're then saving a thumbnail which is what you've got. I didn't pay enough attention to see these were thumbnails. Can you have someone email you the original jpegs?

My only option for the big pictures is to order them since it is on the costco.com account. I tried to have my mom email them to me but she is horrible with computers and the only way she knows to do anything with pictures is to download them to her costco account. I have showed her 100 times how to do it but she will never remember!  :bash:

There are xeveral ways to do this the easy way. I just don't have the time right now to explain.

Then there's no way to get them bigger if you can't download them off of the Costco site and/or your mom can't email them to you. I can put the little tiny ones on your ad in the classifieds but they'll still be really tiny.

I added the teeny tiny pics to your ad...it's better than nothing IMO.

I will call her tonight and see if I can talk her through it...  :dunno: I just want to get rid of the bow to someone who can use it. I already have a bow and my old man won't shoot it.  :(
