Yelp's 2012 Deer Season - Year of the Monkey
« on: October 11, 2012, 07:46:54 AM »
This August the start of this years Hunting season started off with the sudden death of my hunting and fishing buddy Dale.  We hunted/fished  together and had plans to hunt deer, grouse, turkey, etc.  All of my hunting buds were in shock.  It has been a tough few months filled with tears, memories, laughter and spending time with loved ones cherishing the time spent together.

Well Dale had many superstitions, one was having his good luck charm by his side all the time.  The monkey.  This monkey was loved and hated by many of us close to Dale.  The luck usually swung in Dale's favor when the Monkey was around.  As a tribute to my buddy.  I have been travelling around and hunting with other friends taking Dale's Monkey along for the ride.  Kind of a homage to our buddy.  Here is what has transpired so far this year.  Miss you bud!  Hunt On!

May his hunting, in the "Happy Hunting Grounds" be long and prosperous.

I am sorry for your loss!!  I thin this is way cool that you carry his lucky charm (Monkey) around in the woods.   Good luck on the bull hunt and this weekend.
