Blue Mountains
« on: October 13, 2012, 10:28:51 PM »
I'm really wanting to take a trip to the blues, everything I have seen, it seems like really beautiful country. I was wondering if anyone might be able to point me to a tailhead/camp ground to start from, that would get me into nice backcountry. Just doing alittle reasearch for next year, as I know nothing about the area.

It is indeed Gods country, I would start here:  http://www.fs.usda.gov/activity/umatilla/recreation/hunting/?recid=56399&actid=54

Great scenery, void of game  :chuckle: j/k

You dont have to worry about me reducing the game, it seem since I have moved to Washington (stationed at JBLM), I pretty much suck...haha. So I thought I might as well see some of god's country. Thanks for the input

Thanks everybody for the replies. Godman, looks like a decent place to start. Now I will just have to find the time to make the trip.
