Same one I got close up pics of a few days ago.  His spike buddy was with him again too but he scampered off when I went to throw some apples out for them.  Their safe as long as they stick around here.  My son wanted to tag out on him but my wife said we don't shoot yard deer. :bash:  That and I'm sure I'd get a visit from the sheriff and the HOA if I had him fire off a rifle shot in the neighborhood.

thats awesome. The buck on my avatar is the buck that walks through my neiborhood all the time. Oh how I wish I could come across him in the woods.

What's a rifle opener? ...barrel full of mud?
I'd just like to remind everybody that it's about the hunting, not just the killing. In other words, it's about the total experience, the sport itself and the challenge involved. Bowhunting, done right, is a justifiable and honorable pursuit. Done for the wrong reasons, simply chalking up kills and seeking personal glory, it's taking away rather than giving back to a principled way of life that has to be experienced to be understood.
