Palouse buck
« on: October 15, 2012, 03:11:59 PM »
Not a huge buck, but I had Charlene with me, so it was a fantastic day.  She was ecstatic to finally put her tag on a deer.  She is a real trooper; she never quits trying; is out before light and stays out until after dark.  Given her limitations, she hunts harder than a lot of able-bodied men.  I am very proud of her determination.

That's a very nice deer. Congratulations on the deer and your experience. Thanks for sharing.

I couldn't help but touch up that second photo a bit to show off the deer better:

Bob33,

Thank you for the edit...could you make the buck a Boone and Crockett while you are at it? ;)  Actually, I don't think 180" of bone could have made the day very much better.

If I had seen that buck, he'd still be haunting the Palouse and I'd still be washing my drawers....
