Sounds like quite a few people have had success in the Methow so far. I saw a ton of does, but no bucks. My dad shot a nice 4x4. I'm trying to go back this weekend if I can get out of work to seal the deal. Buck my dad shot wasn't neck-swollen but was trailing a doe pretty hot and heavy. Also heard that a few guys saw a buck trying to mount another buck. So that, plus the cold weather coming in this week could lead to some rutting activity. Good luck!

Reports have come in pretty mixed over in the Methow.  The hunters hunting north of town had a real tough hunt.  It sounds like farther east and south there were more deer and some of the higher country spots were really good last weekend.

Good luck to everyone heading over there this weekend.  Looks like a few inches of snow in the forecast for Saturday night/Sunday morning.  Might get intersting over there!

I know a group of guys who went 2 for 3

Did said group happen to shoot to 4x4's opening day up on ramsey?? If so, those 3 guys were camped next to us.
11 in our group last weekend, 2 shooters spotted was it.

We ended up going 2 for 3. My dad got a decent 4x4 and I shot a small 3.
