Yes. That average guy usually holds out for a 40" bull, so 54" is excellent. What are YOU happy with?

OMG!  Exactly what I was going to post!   :chuckle:

My Yukon moose ended up being 56", but also had 5 and 6 brows on it, really nice!

 Washington State Bull Moose.

What about tines? How do you judge?

Since the world record Shiras moose has a 53" spread, 54" would be pretty good.

Is there a point to these questions?  Spread helps but you have to have alot more.  Kinda like sayin, is a 32" muley good? Well not if he is a 2x3.  Throw up a pic.  Are you talkin about the govenors tag?  not sure what the spread is but its a monster.

maybe if he was that close and I had accidentally got some cow moose piss on me.  :o

I have turned down a 54 in moose becasue he had no palm whatsoever.  Generally however that would be an incredible moose.   I am wondering if this has anything to do with a moose I saw pics of that haven't shown yup here yet???

Mac you need to get back I am really wanting to put up some pics of that bull but I will let you do the honors! This was an awsome hunt and I heard a rumor the taxi said we measured it wrong. It sounds like it may have a couple more inches than 54. Congrats and thanks for letting me share the experiance with you!
