Elk in 368

Is there any reason to spend another weekend in that GMU? Other than spending the day outside? I am not asking for anyone's honeyhole spot, but I would be happy just to see some elk at less than 1000 yards. Any tips?

Where have you been hunting in 368? Try the upper end of Reynolds Creek, sometimes it's pretty good and not that crowded.

My son and spent last weekend in areas off 1302 on the north edge of the unit. In my younger days I would see elk in there without trying. More hunters than animals now, combining deer and elk. Planning on getting deep and west, finding a spot and just watching.

Like most places though, the elk move into their underground tunnels after the 3rd day of the season.
