AR 6.8spc Bolt in WA
« on: October 17, 2012, 03:38:48 PM »
Due to a colossal mistake on my part, I ordered the wrong sized bolt carrier group for my new AR15. Instead of a 6.8 bolt, I accidentally ordered the .223  :bash:

I planned to go hunting this weekend, and now I don't know what to do.

Does any one know of a place here in the state that may have a 6.8 bolt in stock?

Much thanks for any guidance you may have!

I'm not sure the 6.8 casing will fit in the bolt on a 7.62?

Curt's Discount Shooters Supply in Milwaukie, OR, may have one he can send to you. 503 819-5881. Worth a try.

PM sent. Thanks sleepingin!

Btw, I really appreciate everyone on this forum. Absolutely blows me away the kindness and generosity to share, and generally help a guy when he's down.

Thanks again!

You could check with http://bisonarmory.com/ to see if they'd sell you one. I don't see it listed as a product option on their page, but they are well-known in the 6.8 spc game, and relatively local.
