Wife hijacking account!!  Husband and I are looking for a german shorthair pup here soon; to be ready about December/January. Want to use as a hunting and family dog. We've been looking for breeders but can't seem to find much. Anyone know of a good local breeder? Thanks!!

You may want to get a hold of cascade_Fisher.  He has German short hairs and might point you in the right direction.

What type of hunting? Personal hunting dog or field trials/ competitions.  Looking for show quality dog or just a nice pure breed one?  Got a size and sex in mind?

Look up upland hills kennel out of port Angeles. I have a Gsp from them and so does a buddy of mine. Good hunting and family dogs
