A deer B nonres additional whitetail doe tag is $75. Its getting cheaper. If expenses lodging and labor are shared between hunters it gets even more cost effective. Im thinking 80lbs of meat per animal not counting hearts and livers. Cut, grind and wrap yourselves and save more. Michelle will pay $75 per usable hide and thats $525 per person for 7 hides. Pays some expenses there eh? Lets see ground beef at Safeway is probably $2.50 a lb. 7X80 = 560lbs. Ground beef would come to $1400 min. at the store. I wanna go. All i gotta do is tip the guides.

Maybe it is $75 now that you mention it.  :chuckle:

If you have some good trading goods I would consider taking certain trades.

DOH! DOE! Good point. Still, one hide is worth a pair of gloves. A pair of elk/ deer hide gloves is $20. X7 thats $140. Make great stocking stuffers.

I would be in (next year) for 2 or 3 does, if i can get 1 or 2 other people in with me, so 3 guys share fuel, motel costs and have a nothing but fun and venison trip.
Any takers? D-rock? Ripper? Whitepirate? RB? we all live close...
I could take 3 in my truck comfortably (room for one to sleep on back seat and 2 up front, canopy on bed so lots of room for stuff or 2 in my nissan uncomfortably  :chuckle:
Or if you have a rig instead?
Or get more than that and 2 rigs heading down together??
*
ps: if i drive we may even get some bonus animals while driving....just ask DoubleJ... :chuckle:
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

I'm in for next year.  Got a suburban that can pull a trailer, and seats 6 men comfortably.

We can be fairly flexible on dates and fit this in between Washington seasons so you don't miss local hunting. Those doe tags are $75 plus you need 1 conservation and 1 access enhancement which are $10 each. If we hunt effective and you shoot straight it wont take many days so that will keep your expenses down.

Tagging for later. I am thinking this could make for a nice combination family vacation/"meat shopping" trip, if i can get my wife on board.
