Be careful with TruPanion. My lady worked there and they are in the business of denying coverage. Really, look into it. She quit over their BS practices.

Just an FYI, we use Pet Plan and have had a great experience...I am not familiar with the other plans mentioned, so I can't speak to them

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is local and highly rated.  I've met the president and his wife who are good people - very good people.   Anyway; they have various plans, but where they shine and "some" others fail is that they pay x% of the invoice as opposed to x% of "customary and reasonable" charges.  Do research to make sure you are getting your money's worth.
