Elk Nut Playbook and videos
« on: October 29, 2012, 07:36:59 PM »
Well this past week I ordered a bunch of stuff from Elknut (the Elknut package #9) including the four pack of DVD's volumes 1 -4, Mastering the Mouth Reed DVD, Scouting Elk Country, Elk Nuts Playbook, and Sounds of the Elk CD.  I had a bunch of money from all my birthday cards that were sent to me by family members and I've wanted to get the playbook for a while and the mouth reed dvd since I have a helluva time using the mouth reeds.  I am writing this thread because I have been very impressed with these items.

First off the shipping was fast and everything arrived intact.  I've already watched DVD's 1 and 2 and really enjoyed the information presented.  There is stuff in there for everyone to learn something new.  I have only thumbed through the playbook but there is a ton of good information in there.  I told my hunting partner today that I'm making him watch the DVD's before next archery season.   :chuckle:

This year I'm making a commitment to myself to really get good at calling and I think the playbook and DVD's are really gonna pay off if I put in the effort.  For those of you who have purchased these products, what do you think of them and did they help you?

His stuff is good quality information.  Just keep going over and over it, and it'll become second nature pretty soon.  His teaching is half the reason there are so few elk in Idaho now.
Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!
