If your going to make an alcoholic drink, shouldent you taste the alcohol? ;)

Believe me, it thaws fast and is great when its slushy.

You must of never had SOJU have you?
Boy is that stuff dangerous, It tastes like water (literally) almost no flavor. We've taken it on more than one camping trip and wound up with everyone puking all over the place.
You don't really realize how much your drinking, Like its so smooth you and gulp it right out of the bottle. Its 15%-45% Depending on what one you have..
So before you know how drunk you are its too late.

Yes I agree, that was my problem with the last batch of this it was very sweet and no alcohol flavor, and only like 14% alcohol. I like a little more kick than that.

Id like to see a fireball recipe!

Here it is!

Just finished batch made with 2 gallon apple juice, liter favorite grain beverage  , and a fifth of fireball. Wow nice bite, like it. Now to see what time mellow will do for it.

Making my first batch, smells great.  Have a question though, where do you store it?  I saw freezer posted but don't exactly have a ton of space in there.  Wouldn't a cool dry place work fine?

Out in the shop, barn or garage.  I quit chilling mine too much.

So i tasted my moonshine after letting it sit for about 2 1/2 weeks, and it noticed a bitter aftertaste, which wasn't present before. Anyone know what caused this? It's been in the fridge and i left cinnamon sticks in the jars. I took out the cinnamon sticks right after tasting it and put it in a dark cabinet to see if that helps at all.

Could have been too hot when you put the booze in.
