Texas hogs
« on: January 03, 2013, 03:17:04 PM »
My wife and I will be making a trip to Cuero, Texas the last weekend of April. I was wondering if anyone has any contacts with someone down there that would have hog hunting availability. We are hauling 4 horses down there and are taking a couple days for ourselves while there. Is hog hunting open down there in April/may?
What would life be without the thrill of the hunt?

There's always hog hunting there, the only good part of Texas. You always have big game to hunt and the small to medium sized ones are tasty. Or if you're just angry at the world you can go unload on some pigs with your AK or AR10 for stress relief and no one cares.

lots of hogs but lots of private land. If you google Texas hunting leases theres some websites that owners have leases available some for only a couple hundred bucks. But hogs down there are a nuisance they tear everything up and cause a lot of damage. No one will have a problem with you shootin them! Good luck!!
