i camped at north skookum Lake. the guy's next to me had a bear growling at them wed up by the fire tower on south baldy. there's a herd just below the gate on the corner were you can park.  and a few elk across the lake up on the clear cut. i heard a bear there. it was 88 yesterday just real hot. i tried my best calling without messing up the bow hunter's. seen a black wolf by brown lake. were bear's there but people to. going to hit the coast next weekend.
