I have yet to locate any of them again this year. Between logging and cattle there was a lot of disturbance in these buck's core areas.

D.B., I was struck by your comment about disturbance in bucks' core areas.  An area I like to hunt has been hit hard by cattle grazing, to the point that I think most of the whitetails have pretty much moved out (at least temporarily).

I am getting some deer activity in the heavy cattle hit areas but not near as much in the past and none of the mature bucks. Very disappointing.
