Great photos, everybody.  Thanks for posting!

D.B., I was struck by your comment about disturbance in bucks' core areas.  An area I like to hunt has been hit hard by cattle grazing, to the point that I think most of the whitetails have pretty much moved out (at least temporarily).

John

I am getting some deer activity in the heavy cattle hit areas but not near as much in the past and none of the mature bucks. Very disappointing.

Maybe things will change for the better DB once the snow flies and they start hitting the alfalfa. Those does might just lead them back to your spots.

That is what I am banking on. I have relocated the local doe groups and I hope the big boys show over the next few weeks.

Wow.  There are monster bucks out there.  I need to get my trail cameras out more.  I've never seen a buck with as many points as the 6x6 above
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

If you love something you will set it free, if it don't come home, hunt it down and kill it.

Thanks guys.... He is a mainframe 7x7 with a split brow on his left and a 4 inch kicker off the outside of his right mainbeam.  He is in pretty far off the beaten path and its been a long season trying to keep tabs on him.  November is a magical month so hopefully he will slip up.

A couple from last year.
If we were supposed to be vegetarian God would have made broccoli more fun to shoot!
"HOYT" why would you even consider shooting something else?
