Bowtech Experience???

Has anyone purchased the new Bowtech Experience?  I went and shot it today and it seemed like a very nice bow.  Didn't really feel any hand torque or vibration.  Solid back and smooth shooter.  It seemed fairly quite as well when shooting.  The bow I shot was set at 64lb.  I may consider going with the 60 vs 70 lb bow on my next purchase.  Very easy to pull back and hold for long periods.

I haven't got my hands on that one yet, but I do shoot the invasion CPX  and love it. I'm sure that you won't be disappointed if you were to purchase it.

I have been putting in some time with the Experience lately.  I too am shooting close to 60# with it.  Shooting the same arrow as I do with my 70# out of state hunting bow of the past few years and getting speeds within a few fps of that 70# set up.  Getting older and wiser I think I'm sticking with the 62#.  Plus then my arrows are legal for Washington state and I don't have to constantly change depending on where I hunt.

I am very comfortable in stating it is the best Bowtech I have ever shot.  Possibly the smoothest bow I have ever shot!  And right up there with the most stable bows I've shot in the past 10 years.  About the only negative thing I say about it is "Suggested Retail price"   If I had to fork out that much change for it I'm not sure I'd be so eager to give it praise.  But compared to the other $1,000 bows available today I'd have to say it's worth every penny as it is the ONLY bow I have tested in that price range that I enjoy shooting.

I was a fan of the Invasion.  I think the Experience gives you the performance of the Invasion in a smoother, quieter bow with a much improved riser geometry.  One of my "Top Picks" for 2013.  One of only two in my "Top Pick's" of 2013 in that price range.

thats what i love about bowtechs. solid back wall.

id like to shoot this bow but i dont see me getting rid of my 82nds anytime soon. just one of those bows that shoots awesome for me.

Did you get a chance to shoot the new Mathews bows as well?  The Chill & Creed?  I shot those as well and they weren't to bad.  I may like the Experience better not sure.

I think you get more bang for your huge over sized buck with the Experience.  That being said the Chill is the other bow in my "Top Picks" for 2013 in that price range.  Even if the Mission "Ballistic" is basically the same bow for $500 less.

Not a fan of the Creed.

I think I had some creep with the new 2013  $1000 matthews bow creed, at least I think it was the matthews.  kept wanting to go off the wall and if I didn't really concentrate on slamming it all the way back hard on the wall and keeping it there,  it would lurch forward.  Pretty sure I would take a $500 hoyt charger over the Matthews.....

hoyt charger - really all the bow any hunter needs, shot good and was smooth.  I wouldn't frown upon this bow for someone looking for one in that 500-600 ish bracket. I'd go with the bare bow though,  I didn't care for the package stuff.   Dress it up with some bling and it'd make a dang fine bow.  My next bow will have roller guides though.  Just something I told myself I wanted.

I too enjoyed the bowtech experience, but my time was limited and the bow wasn't fully set up.   Just a WB and no sights, the target was 3 feet in front of the arrow.  You could tell you were shooting a fast bow, but it was well mannered.  I'd love to have more time with it,  I think this bow requires some grow into time.

I enjoyed the carbon element the most though, that bow was just dead when you shot it, also smooth and quiet. It's deceptive how fast it sends an arrow downrange.  I think that bow can make a bad shooter into a decent shooter.  It wouldn't require much of any grow into time, set it up and shoot and it'll do the same thing over and over and over and you couldn't get enough of it.   Pretty sure if I had this bow, I would shoot it much more than any other bow I might buy  - for one it costs like hell, but 2 its just so refined and fun there is no work involved

I wasn't too pleased with the way the archery shop was letting me test their bows so I walked, but at the same time I understand it takes more time to fully set up a bow for a tire kicker.  Still, there were 3 dudes in the shop and no customers other than me.   Maybe this is pretty standard archery shop routine for tire kickers?

Ive been shooting an Insanity CPXL for about two months and really like it.  Very smooth draw and back wall, and fast!
