I will never forget hunting the MT Hood national forest driving down a skid road and seeing a older lady ( maybe a witch) carrying a glass gallon jar of some kind of beverage?... maybe it was witches brew... :dunno: :dunno:..

I will never forget that... We looked for her on the way back..( 1/4 mile back, at best ) she was nowhere to be found.

Middle of nowhere.. Strange brew and a true story...

Not sure it was exactly on Halloween, but it was around that time of year. Me and dad were out hunting a long ways from town and we were walking a patch of timber when I noticed something ahead of me. I walked up closer and it was a super clean blue blanket laid perfectly on the ground with a clean white bowl placed right in the middle of the blanket and in the bowl was fresh made biscuits  :dunno: ... Weirdest thing i have ever seen. And there was no one else around. Needless to say, we walked away  :chuckle:

Good thing you walked away!  Sounds like the deer were baiting!  BlackTail with a gun not far away! :chuckle:

:yeah: If that's the case then they would need better bait than that! More like an ice cold case of Busch Light, some jerky, and a piping hot gooey pizza! :chuckle:
That wasn't me! It was a black Camaro! It went that way!

I went up elk/deer hunting above Yakima one time and in one of the camps around Oak Creek I saw a Bill Clinton for president sign.  I almost ran off the freaking road!  True story.

About 8 years back, I had gotten a spike on opening day of the modern.  We always hung the elk whole and wrapped them in a blue tarp.  For Hallowween we took the front legs and put them up with another tarp with a tiny tree wrapped inside.  When you opened up the tarp we had a bowl of candy with a trick or treat sign.

As all the hunters from other camps came back from hunting that morning they had to stop and check out our latest elk.  It was fairly amusing to watch the looks on everyones face.

The next day, we ended getting another.  We ended up making it look like 4 elk hanging in camp.  You should have seen the amount of people that would be flying by the 1501 road and end up locking up there breaks the rest of the week. :chuckle:

A berm at the end of a road had 4 elk legs from the knees down sticking up out of it with his manhood put in the appropriate place. Looked like he was buried on his back.
