where to get a quality meat grinder

i had a nice hand cranked meat grinder for a few years but gave it away a few while ago, just wondering if anyone here knows of a good quality manual meat grinder?? looked online at cabelas and all have bad reviews.

Do a search for porkert grinders there are a lot out there

The better Cabelas grinders are plenty good for most people. The 1hp does a real good job. I know several buddies that have one. They love it.

I see you are looking fore a manual, but if you have a Kitchenaid mixer the grinder attachment  works great on them..  :tup:

That is what I have used for a few years now and it works great.

thanks for the ideas guys. i wish i had a kitchen aid right now but i think ill have to invest in one one of these eventually. that link to the motorized grinder looks pretty killer tho!

well my thrift store hunting paid off after about a week of searching i found a nice 1940-50s maunal grinder complete with knife,and course and fine dies. it even has the warranty papers with it. ill have to give them a call if i have any issues
