I forgot to mention, thanks to Heartsblood for coming over and helping me out with the skinning. I owe you one!

It was my pleasure. Believe me. Happy to be able to share in the experience.

There is a long spectrum of island bucks and this one is at the top that I've seen.  Nice buck.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Thanks everyone. I got the buck all boned out last night and today I took it in to have some burger and pepperoni made. I kept the backstraps and tenderloins and still had 70lbs of meat! I think that would put him in the 200-210 lb range, what do you guy's think? Anyway I took the cape and head to the taxidermist and what arrived right before me? The giant muley from Winthrop!  :yike: Holy cow that thing is massive! I doubt that I will ever lay eyes on a monster like that. The taxidermist said it may break the state  record of 224. He thinks it's pushing 230! All I know is it's massive!
