Any one shoot one of these? I was thinking about picking up one up. Seems really smooth and fairly quiet. The next bow I buy is going to be the last one for a while so i'd like it to last a long time.

If you want it to last a long time shoot several different brands/models and pick the one that FEELS best.

Haven't shot one but all the 2013 are out or should be shortly.

I have shot all of the high end bowtechs mathews and hoyts. My buddies work at the local archery shop so I can toy with what ever I feel like on slow days  :chuckle:
Mathews always felt the smoothest to me and best in hand until I shot the elite. I really like it and its a little cheaper. Just wanted to see what everyone elses thought were on it, and how they thought it would hold up over several years. Thats what it really comes down to. There all accurate bows these days.
Ill probably go with a '12 once all of the new bows hit the shops, should be a bit cheaper.

The Answer is a great bow and Elite has awesome customer service.  If it fits you like a glove, you can't go wrong with it.

I had a 2012 Answer for a while (as well as a 2011 Hunter and a 2011 Pure).  Very nice bow.  Nice draw cycle, very quiet, not much kick at the shot.  Of course being an Elite, it has an excellent wall and valley.  The primary reason that I had the Answer is because my shoulders are bad and it is easy to make sore when I shoot.  The draw cycle on Elite bows (as with most binary cam bows) loads up fairly quickly which is a bit hard on my shoulders.  The Answer was just stiff enough to make my shoulders sore....  That said, the draw cycle of the Answer is very smooth from peak draw weight all the way back.

The grip on Elite bows is also a bit different.  I find it quite comfortable, but a little difficult to be repeatable with it.  Just something to be aware of.  I think Elite makes a great bow!
