synthetic stock options?
« on: October 01, 2012, 12:40:09 PM »
Im looking for some stock options for my 300 mag, looked around online and all i see is $400 stocks, is this normal pricing for a plastic stock? i would like to closet the original wood stock and swap over to a lighter camo composite. any advice?

Maybe call some mfgrs and ask if they have 2nds that aren't posted online. Who cares if it's cosmetic but functions perfectly. I wouldn't.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

You need to keep looking. There are numerous companies that make synthtic stocks for far less than $400.

Cabelas has probably 10 different synthetic stocks for $200 or less. Some are under $100

Also look on Ebay

I have a couple stocks for Remington 700's sitting around, was hoping I may have found a home for one of them.

I think I'd figure out what round it shoots before I shoot it.
Plenty of cheap synthetic stocks available. Finding one for you particular gun may take a little effort.
