Another bear
« on: August 31, 2008, 05:38:43 PM »
Geez what a busy bear out there! I went over check my camera and I sudden notice something moving upper and I look over left and spotted a small darker red bear running upper from me about 40 yds and bear quickly ran over the hill and I drove forward 200 yards where he run over to ridge and I stopped and pull bow out and walk look for him and he didnt run thur ridge, he just run over top and take right go stright where I park he ran north toward to me and I draw my  bow and he kept running and running and I was about 70 yds he stopped and I couldnt release my arrow to the head so I wait and wait he sudden ran down real fast couldnt get a clean shot at 70 so I let him go. it was really smaller bear and it was about 100ish lbs Nah my wife took a pic of bear when he was start to run away from us  while I was aim at bear.
NEXT TIME!  :'(

I think your punctuation ran away with the bear.

That's okay.  Better luck next time.

Don't let it get you down.

Ever stop to think that quite possibly english is a second language for him?  He has been around a long time and proven helpful and knowledgable.  He has changed his screen name so as not to be confused with someone else with a similar name. But has been here and contributed and never been harsh to anyone else that I have seen..........

Cut the guy some slack.

Actually you could not meet a nicer guy then mulehunter, and if you met the man you'd feel pretty much like a jerk at this point.  I have had the privilege to meet him for a short period of time and I really look forward to hunting with him in the future.  Sheesh sometimes you guys can be real peckerheads.   >:(

Way to go getting close to that bear. It took a while for me to find the bear in the pic. Am I the only one that couldn't see it at first?  :dunno:

I am glad to have coonhunter/mulehunter back.  He gets some great photos and spends a huge amount of time in the woods.  He definately knows his stuff.

MuleHunter...
Looks like a great day out. It doesn't look like a big bear, but it sure has a wonderful color to it. I'd be coming back in a year or three!

Oh yes...and congrats and getting your wife outdoors and hunting with you.
I'm fortunate enough to have found a keeper that enjoys the outdoors as well...but not all of us hunters are so fortunate-take advantage of it since you've got it!

I think your punctuation ran away with the bear.

Comments like these are exactly why myself and so many others have left the "other" hunting and fishing forums on the web. They aren't needed, they aren't productive, and they just make you look like a *censored*. Perhaps you would feel more comfortable at some of those "other" forums...?
I left it better than I found it...did you?
I hunt animals because veggies are too easy to stalk.
