I missed the second biggest deer I'd ever seen last night. Went back after him this morning, set up fifty yards from where I was the day before. Called for a couple minutes and he came out of the timber all puffed up ready for a fight.

Not the buck I was after, but I'm a sucker for big old 2 points.

I'm 2 for 2 in my two seasons of blacktail hunting in WA! I think I like it more than whitetail hunting in my motherland of northern Minnesota. Feel super lucky to have been so fortunate, but at the same time I put in a lot of work for these two!

NICE ...Your on a roll !!!!   Some nice ones hit the dirt yesterday ..unfortunately I spend half a day getting my buddies deer out of a hole ...I  will have to show you that one ...180 plus on the hoof !   3x4 !
