I, personally, wouldn't care what that buck scores, that's an amazing BT!

With the mass and the extras at the bottom, I bet it gets into the 150s. I'll guess 153 3/8".

The mass and eyeguards helped a lot. His forks were much smaller this year. I was shocked to see 160 as well.
Should have the shoulder mount back in a month or so, cannot wait, this will be my first mounted buck ever

who’s doing the mount. I’d be concerned with that kind of turn around. Usually the good taxi’s are 18-24 month out. Especially with a buck of that caliber. I wouldn’t be taking it to just anyone.  :twocents:

Eagerly waiting my spot in line to get this mounted, but finally have a date set next week to get him scored. Next to my previous biggest buck. What do you think it will score? 20” outside width and just under 7” bases

Geez, What a MASHER!

I'm no Blacktail guru.    I chase them on and off.
But I'm sure I've seen several hundred Blacktail bucks over the years.....   and maybe 1 would rival that pig.

Dave Jones out of Olympia, he doesn’t advertise as he’s retired and turning away alot of stuff, but I was referred to him and have seen his blacktails in person. Was blown away by his work. Here’s one that was as the shop when I stopped by my first time.
