X-Mark Pro trigger adjustment

What exactly do you use to adjust it? Heard the springs were covered in glue and it must be heated before adjusting... any truth there? Just looking to bring it down to 3lbs. Have adjusted another 700 and an ABolt, just not sure about this one.
