5 month soak (pic heavy)
« on: November 01, 2012, 06:29:22 PM »
Finally picked my camera up after a 5-month soak. I tried once to check it in September, but I forgot the key to my padlock at home. This was the first chance I had to get back into the area it was set. I got over 700 pictures, a lot of does, and a lot of other variety mixed in there. I ended up with bear, coyotes, deer, elk, grouse, opossums, squirrels and various other birds. I will post everything by month.

June 2- Set my camera out
June 5- Picture of a bear butt
June 5- Doe and a very new fawn
June 19- Fawn comes back in
June 25- Yote walks by

August

On 8/1 the bear ran into my camera and it was then pointing at the ground. Something came by later and stood my salt block up on end, but my camera didn't get pictures of it.

September

Tried to check my cam on 9/3. Got it repositioned and left it up there since I didn't have the key to my padlock to take it down.

October

Had numerous bucks come by my camera the last week of deer season. Guess I should have been up there hunting...

Cool Chronology.  Could of had the grand slam if you would have camped in that tree for a few months!  Low, med, or high elevation??  Just mineral blocks?
Thanks for sharing.

Fairly low elevation. Just a 50lb trace mineral block.

What Bushnell camera is this? Nice pics, thanks for sharing. Wow that fawn was tiny. You don't see many when they're that small. Super cute.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.
