Yep, had the velcro thing yesterday by accident.  I was carrying the camera over my shoulder and then slipped it off.  One of the knobs caught on my hood on my jacket and all I hear is this velcro rip.   All five bucks I had in front of me were now staring........ :yike:

I think there is a "quiet velcro" developed for the military.  I not sure if it has been sold commercially yet.  I like stuff with button, drawstrings or those plastic squeeze clip things.
