Reblueing service?
« on: October 31, 2012, 03:46:07 PM »
Does anybody know of a Washington based reblueing service that is good quality? I have a Browning BLR that's 27 years old
that has been hunted with pretty hard that whole time on the wetside and put away wet more than once and needs restoration.

I know a guy in Tumwater who will do minor bluing work, or for the real serious, high quality, bluing job, he sends them off to somewhere out of state.

You can ship across state lines to a gunsmith as long as the ownership does not change -without the use of an FFL dealer in Washington. Mel and his associates will treat your Browning right.

If you do find someone in Washington that does good hot/rust bluing, I'm sure a lot of us would like to know about your experience.
