this is exactly what I want to do to one of my 7MM Rugers but need help.

Looks like a boyds stock, they supply a lot of manufacturers with stocks.

Looks like a boyds stock, they supply a lot of manufacturers with stocks.

The Boyds I have looked at don't have the vents toward the front, not knowing if they are functional in any way but cosmetically it looks nice.

yah! huntnphool thats my 17. shoots awesome! freaking love the stock also.....

you really want the thumbhole or just the style of stock....

its a jacaranda wood laminatated stock...

i am sure you can find one online, i will look and see, i was looking at one earlier last week, but forgot where i saw one like it, but ill look and reply back with a link.

Yeah, I was going to say, that's Jay's gun.  I had it for a while and put a few thousand shots through it "testing it out" for him...   :chuckle:

The holes on the front of the stock are to help cool the bottom of the barrel. My Howa had the same style stock but not a thumbhole.
