According to my friend on the Natural Resources committee, WDFW didn't put wolves in the Cascades, so blast away. Shoot every BIG coyote you see.

Shoot, Shovel, Share to location of the pack so we can can all shoot a wolf!

:yeah:It's a big coyote for sure!!!!! If we care at all about our wildlife we will do more shooting than reporting.

Was south of Packwood maybe 20 miles maybe 12 years ago and a very large yote stepped out onto the road, right after i found a cocker spaniel wondering on the dirt road (no sh*t), anyways, i pulled the trigger on the 7mag, and errrrrr, safety was on....guess i'll never know. found a guy by his vehicle a little bit down the road,looking like he was on an african safari, shooting vest filled with shells, a cool hat and all the best LL Bean gear, he was cupping his hands and calling, obviously the dogs owner. now this is in the middle of nowhere and at 4000 ft, i pull up and say, we found a dog, i think its yours, he replies is the dog we found look like this and look like that, lol i almost just kept the dog..poor, thing, just didnt deserve that guy..pretty sure that uh-hemmmm yote was after the dog when we found it.   just thought i'd share sorry.

My dad and I were up around Nasty Creek in the Cowichie last week and heard what we are pretty sure was 2-3 wolves howling right at first light. Never heard coyotes that deep and long winded before. Never heard a wolf either but felt instantly that that was what we were listening to.

Why wouldnt there be wolves in Rimrock? They are in the Goat Rocks and Lewis River unit. It only makes sence. It wont be long til all we have is a wolf season.

I've heard alot of people say they've seen, heard or found wolf tracks in all of the Yakima units, so this is no surprize.

Appears to me as well to many out there. That the state has no clue actually how many wolves are in state. I have seen multiple tracks and reports first hand sightings. Pictures and reported sightings to the game department does no justice to how many Washington state is holding. But in the same token, every wild game animals need management. SSS.......

I was down in the lil rattlesnake near devils table when I heard it so either they are covering some ground on a daily basis, passing thru or there is more than a couple in there?

Had a friend send me pictures of big dog type tracks in the snow 15 miles up oak creek, Bear lake area. Wolf?

last year on top of bear mountain heard wolves howling never heard a yoty sound like that im convinced there up there

I've heard alot of people say they've seen, heard or found wolf tracks in all of the Yakima units, so this is no surprize.

  I have never seen one personally but I have heard stories from people I trust very much

Ill be up there on the 17th until Dec 8th so Ill have to keep an eye out for them "big Yotes"

Talked with a fellow from wenatchee that was up there for the spike season. Said he found 8 kills up there with BIG coyote tracks around them. Heard howling at night and he talked to a retired sheriff , and the sheriff said there were 6 pairs running between Rimrock and the Nile.
