Looks like everything is falling into place, so ill be up there opener weekend. Not stayin the night but driving up there for the day and back to yakima. Look for a red 04 dakota quad cab w/ a elk sticker on the back and a elk hitch over along w/ a pink hawaian flower sticker on the back window.  :archery_smiley:

Just drove down from Nile area from setting stands.  Only 1/2 inch dusting on the top.  But that will obviously change by the time season start.

Was up there today as well, lots of folks up there today. Saw a dozen or so elk and some sign of deer.

Will be up the night of the 20th thru Sunday maybe longer just depends. Will be camped in tent city also , meadow at the y of 1600 and 1601. Hope to be up the right hand side will be a white Tahoe travel trailer with a 96 green f250 power stroke. Also a crew cab f350 green with green canopy should have trailer with two quads on it. The big camp has been there as long as I have hunted the Nile and that is at least the last 12 years. Just looked at the whistlinjacks.com cam and there is snow in the parking lot that wasn't there earlier today, so the weather looks to be coming in perfect cant wait to get up there and chase the critters around the woods.
