I'm one of the lucky tagholders this year and haven't even started hunting yet.  I do not intend to pay the $1500 fee mentioned above because my research has found that there are plenty of sheep on the public land in the north part of the unit near the horseshoe bend in the river.  I will post a story and pics in this section when the hunt is over.

Been seeing sheep right by the road in the canyon. Saw about 25 yesterdat with a few rams.

Keep looking in the north end. You dont need to be on top to find a great ram.

Sounds like the type of thing someone would or should know before applying for that permit.  Do your homework in other words. When you consider the price of sheep hunts that people are willihg to pay, it probably doesn't seem that bad to some folks.
