I have a couple of canoes set up for duck hunting.  I put this Kayak together a couple of years ago to get into some tight places.  It has loops for grass and turns inside out to white for snow cover.

After the first shot the rest are just noise.

I am curious about that sled, how did you make that?

I had an old toboggan (for sledding in the snow) so I spray-painted it, and put noodles on the sides for extra flotation. It will float as much as you can put in it.

Kola: that is a good idea, I have used an old sled for slogging through the mud, but figured it would sink if I tried pulling it behind the Kayak.

AWS: where did you get that cover? I whipped up a burlap cover but it is no where near as nice as that. And the burlap kinda wicks up water.

I sewed it.  It is sail cloth on the white side and a light weight synthetic(nylon) on the camo side

It floated fine without the noodles also even with all of the decoys in it. To put the most decoys you can in it, I get a bunch of 5 gallon buckets and fill those with decoys, then a lid on the buckets, then decoys on the lids. That doesn't work for Canadiens though  :chuckle:

A buddy of mine saw mine in action and decided to get one too; he got an orange one on C-list. Orange no problem that is what paint is for right. WRONG, I have sanded and painted it twice, and flat can not get paint to stick to it!

So duct tape it and then paint it.

Just make sure wherever the ends are they won't contact anything ever or they will peel up. You could epoxy the seams tho for added protection.
