Awhile back on a Cabelas Club Member sale, I caught a great deal on a new Trijicon AccuPoint 3x9x40 Crosshair Amber Dot scope.  Now I know just the rifle to put it on. :tup:

That's some nice figured walnut on that rifle stock.  Nice rifle...that's one to keep in the family and pass on.

Wood is the first thing I look at on a rifle.   Its what makes a classic hunting rifle stand out above others...But then I am a woodoholic... :chuckle:

 :yeah:  stainless on a synthetic stock  -  practical , yes  -  functional ,  yes     low maintenance, yes -   and yet it will always be  FUGLY
