No closed season on porkys. Skunks might be in the trapping regs, but I don't know for sure. If you shoot a Skunk, make sure you shoot it in the head. If it sprays, it will stink for months....
Why shoot them unless they're causing trouble?

If it sprays, it will stink for months....WRONG!It has to do with the autonomic nervous system. If you shoot it in the head you have a MUCH HIGHER chance of it letting loose with the juice. Shoot it in the heart. Most of the time they won't spray.
A trap designed for skunks is the only way to go, and for you feel gooders you can relocate.
