I am not a big fan of the split limbs, I would like to know how it feels in the hand when shot.  They just keep getting lighter and lighter with less material.  For 2 feet per second less and to not have to spend another grand I think I will stick with my z7 extreme tactical for another year.

i think archery technology has hit a wall until the next company figures out how to do the next great thing. i havent been impressed with any bows this year but bowtech wont be out til jan. still it'd have to be something pretty amazing for me to get rid of my 82nd airborne.

hey rainier10 how do you like that Z7 extreme tactical? been looking for a Z7 magnum  to shoot.

I like it this year more than last year.  It was good last year and I was accurate with it, the problem I had last year was I was used to my old switchback.  The switchback had a good valley after it broke over until you hit the back wall where it was solid.  To increase speed they had to shorten the distance of the valley on the z7.  So after it broke over and you were against the wall if you let it creep at all the arrow was taking off.  After another year of practice I have learned to hold solid against the wall and not creep.  Practice and repitition have made it very comfortable and I am just as accurate as ever.  Some people complain about the short axle to axle on the extreme but I think the long riser makes up for it and the brace height is very forgiving.  My brother in law has a regular z7 and he loves it, longer ata like the magnum would have.  Hope that helps and if you can, shoot as many different models as you can and see what feels best to you.

I shot the Creed the other day.  Very nice looking bow - clean lines, less clutter on the bow - very nice.  The draw cycle was outstanding.  The valley was very shallow, however the bow did not feel like it wanted to take off on me as typical with a bow with a shallow valley.  At the shot, the bow is outstanding.  Very quiet, very dead in the hand, very pleasant to shoot.  I own a HeliM and like it a lot.  That being said, I shot a HeliM set to the same draw weight as the Creed when I was giving the Creed a test drive.  Of the two, the Creed came out ahead in virtually every category.

Thanks for the review, sounds like another good bow.  What did the bow have on it?  Just a sight and a rest or did they have a quiver also?  How was the balance, did you think you needed a stab?

There was nothing on the bow except a rest and a d-loop.  Balance was OK, but I find evaluating balance a bit difficult without being able to shoot the bow for a while with a sight on it shooting at a target 50 yards away.....

I'm still debating on what to do with those new bows (the Creed and the Chill), but all things being equal I would trade my HeliM off for either one of them!  And I really do like my HeliM!
