Geez  DB...thanks for sharing these pics.  I wish whitetails were in our valley everytime I get to see some of your pics.  He is awesome.  What about the big guy you had on camera last year, have you seen him or did somebody get him?  The buck I'm speaking of was a huge nontypical.  Last question, public or private?

The 200+ gross non-typical I had on cam last year (and the year before) was taken by another deserving archer around the first part of December 2011.

I almost exclusively hunt public. I have access to a good amount of private and occasionally I will find a giant there but year in and year out I have to go to public to find the bucks I am looking for... it all boils down to being able to cover more ground and no matter how much private ground I have access to it becomes difficult to consistently find what I am looking for. That being said when I want a high probability of a 140ish buck (towards the end of my hunting time)  I will sometimes go to my private spots.
