Hunted that area many times, I bet I know the exact rock.  Scary. Glad it wasn't worse.

That rock has claimed more than one boat over the years. Not all duck hunters either.

Hard lesson to learn.  A little costly to the boat.  I have punched a few holes in the bottoms of jon boats by hitting various logs and rocks in the river.  No fun.
