I personally have a problem with Sky busting D bags who carry buck shot in they're pockets and pop off 150yrd shots at birds hoping for the Miracle beebee!!

I think the main reason is that there are two kinds of swans, one is endangered or threatened, the other is not. We mostly have the not threatened ones but some of the others may be mixed in. The state could initiate a quota like on the Duskys, check your swan in and when the quota of protected ones is reached, shut the season down. Unfortunately htis would cost some $$ and probably makes too much sense for the state to implement.

We've taken them down with #3 shot. I was told by a clerk at Wholesale Sport's (Sportman's at the time) that he uses 00 buckshot for snows and Canadians, and he handed me the box. They were Hevi-shot dead coyote
