An irritating morning.
« on: November 10, 2012, 07:17:07 PM »
So low97ram and I hit JBLM this morning for some duck hunting. We get there at 4:15 to set up in our spot for the morning hunt. The weather is cold and there was a thin layer of ice on the water, but no biggie.... We break ice to place our deeks and get our selves situated with over an hour until first light, then right before day light a truck pulls up, unloads a boat and goes about 40 yards in front of our set up, and then sets  up less the 100 yards direct in front of us on this small stretch of water   :yike: :yike: :yike: :yike: :yike:

Are you effing kidding me....right in front of our set up in our shooting zone :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: I was none the less a little pissed. It put us in an very unsafe hunting situation  :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono:

We had our head lamps on and made sure they knew we were there but they didnt even bother, just went about there business.

Then there was a few ducks flying high over there heads and they unloaded on them and I  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: arse of at them.

Bout 9:30 i decided it was time to get out of there, there were no birds flying so it was time to jump shoot. WHen we get back to teh boat launch,  I find my truck is blocked in by that jack waggon  :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash:
I start yelling, HEY, MOVE THE CHEVY TRUCK ITS BLOCKING THE ROAD and not  a sole moved. I ended up driving my truck through the trees to get out of there, cause I was hot................ I come on, who blocks the enterance to an area so that the people that were there before you cant get out............... I will tell you, a moron does  :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono:

All right, rant over. time for   :brew: :brew: :brew: :brew:

Trees?  I would have pushed their truck out of the way before I drove my rig through trees.

Good reason to carry a chain in your truck.  Should have hitched onto the weakest part of his bumper and given a yank to move him.
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

I know this guy... lets call him Spilly. he got blocked in by some ass hat THREE separate times. on the first occasion he chalked it up to stupidity. on the second occasion he left a polite note on the fellows windshield. on the third occasion Spilly noticed that the ass hat left his doors unlocked so he invited his two sopping wet labs that had just been swimming in skagit ditch water to jump in and dry themselves off on his upholstery. :hello:

That's cool  :chuckle:

It would just be a tragedy to fall, and try to catch yourself with his truck with keys in hand  :peep:

You are full of crap...... if that was you, you were lucky to not get peppered by shots....... you put your self in a dangerous situation.... and next time, park your chevy in the trees and brush to give everyone else a clear path out.

And if I can see the white of your eyes, it was not 175 yards.

And about being respectful of the other hunters.

What is JBLM? Want to make sure I stay away from this place. Sounds like a cluster.
