.30-.30 dilema
« on: November 10, 2012, 09:48:37 PM »
So I was looking for a shooter winchester .30-.30 and just received a LNIB  Buffalo Bill Commemorative .30-.30. Do I shoot it or sell it and by a shooter?

Depends if it's "like new" or new.  Once fired other than for the mandatory test shots at the company, I don't think it matters if it's fired once or 100 times, the bulk of the collector's value has been lost.

Then, I would check to see what the value of it was and look at selling if you want a shooting rifle.

It isn't going to matter with that model, shoot it and enjoy it.

Check serial #. If it is within this range, WCF1- WCF300, DONT shoot it! Anything else, 100% bluebook is $695, so shoot it!  :)

The serial # is WC86XX so shoot it I will. It will probably go to my son some day anyways. Thanks for all the input.
