Cabelas has the Zeiss Conquest line of scopes on sale.  The 3-9X40 is just $299.00 with free shipping and they have 20.00 off coupons available on their website right now which takes the price down to $279.00 + tax.  I've never owned one before but figure for that price I better see how they compare to my Leupolds.  Price is good till Nov. 13.

The 3x9x40's are gone now....like in sale done, not listed anymore.  Managed to buy one before the rush was over. 

Too good a price to pass up with the $20 off coupon and free shipping.  With tax..$306.  Not bad for that scope.

Yeah it was a great buy. I got one.  Probably should have bought more.   I also picked up a Tasco world class 4-16x40 for $49.00.

Awesome scope for the $.  Wish they had deals on some of their stuff in higher powers.  It's like a crack dealer.... lure you in with a good deal, get ya hooked, and then stick it to ya when you need something with more ooomph

any of the conquest series are spectacular scopes! my brother has the 6.5x20 on his tactical .308 and performs amazing in low light conditions.
