From a guy who shot 4 doe antelope this year...The fish and game officers out there do work hard to take care of the hunters and the land owners. I got access to 10+ farms that had issues with depredation, but I was also on a first year tag. They were trying out a new area that hadn't had more than 50 tags before, and my tags were for private land only. Like Bob said, you can really do a wonder by looking at draw odds and a little bit of research...Also think about buying a preference point for year one (buck tag) and putting a massive hurt on your opportunity of up to 4 doe antelope. If you have one preference point, your odds increase significantly, sometimes it makes it a guarantee from a 0% odd with zero points. Just food for thought.

Do your research, look at public lands and access...In Wy you can own all the roads or surround public land and then you make it in a sense, private due to no way in. Private roads can be blocked which prevent you access to driving down them...There are a few chunks of BLM or state land that are land locked by private land, it happens. But, over halfof Wyoming is public land...Some areas, like where I hunt, 90% public land.

The hunting is what you make of it...I shot my antelope (4) between 80 and 280 yards. My buddy shot his at like 70 yards... The hunting is all what you make of it. Good luck!
Wishing I was fishing...or in Wyoming
