White River Permit?
« on: November 13, 2012, 09:03:53 AM »
So for one lst push my buddy and i are thinking about going to hunt the White River for the late season, but the more research i do the more and more i see that you have to have a  Hancock permit to hunt that unit? do you need a permit for the whole unit or just certain sections? Any help would be great, thank you!

You do not need a permit for quite a bit of the unit. A lot of it, yes, but there is a ton of land you can hunt without one. Basically from enumclaw up to greenwater, is pretty much hancock land, but once you get above greenwater, there is plenty of area to hunt.

Lots of FS land up there.  Probably be pretty good because the snow line will be around there I bet.
