What a great deer.  Do a European and put the money where it needs to go :twocents:

Great looking buck heavy and tall! JLS hit it on the head, I would love to have some shoulder mounts of my deer( not that I have a bunch of trophy class head gear laying around), but I'm not made of money. Taking the time off, spending the money on solid gear, and buying licenses cost enough. If I had the disposable income I would do it, but a euro is a happy medium, and stylin in its own wright. Nice job on a great deer!

Beautiful buck.  He would go on my wall.

nice deer and congratz.

If you're on the fence, you can always freeze the cape for now and DIY a Euro. I think it's something every deer hunter  should try out. It isn't that expensive to DIY and will broaden your appreciation for good taxidermy. Out sure did for me.

That's a beautiful buck, congrats. If it were me I would save 25 bucks a month and in about 2 years you'd have it paid for. Most good taxidermists are over a year out anyways. I think they would work with you. If that is a strain on the family, maybe you could just have the cape tanned for now and stow it away for a better time.
BOOM ...That's funny ....BOOM !

I personally would mount that buck, but a euro would look sweet too. You could do it (euro) yourself for the price of peroxide. Great deer man!

Great buck. For sure mount it. Mine was $600 but paid $250 down and then a year later paid the other $350 when it was done

If that is the biggest buck to date you have shot....the answer is obvious.
If you love something you will set it free, if it don't come home, hunt it down and kill it.

no question...i vote for an off shoulder turn to the lefft

Great deer, I would mount it for sure, if money is tight see about payments.  In the end family comes first, so if finances don't allow a shoulder mount do the european.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.
